THEME TEXT: Isaiah 8:18

Behold, I and the children whom the Lord has given me are for signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, who dwells on Mount Zion. 

FOCUS:

It is in family relationships that children first learn about God. Their relationship with their parents, and the parents with each other, are where children first learn of God’s love and how to have a relationship with Him. Because the family can be one of God’s greatest tools, it is also where Satan attacks hardest. Some of his tools are neglect, abuse and divorce. But, the healing God can bring to a family that has been torn apart by sin, can help restore broken relationships and be a powerful illustration of His grace.

DESCRIPTION:
Another of our mannequin skits performed to classical music. The Holy Spirit and Satan are the two “sculptors” who take turns putting their influence into the family. Every time Satan sculpts the family into some dysfunction, the Holy Spirit is able to change just a few things to the scene to bring it back to harmony. The point being that sometimes it only takes a few things to create havoc in a family, and in turn a few things healed can help bring restoration.
