Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

FOCUS:
In the light of the Cross, there is no room for any other “gods” of our age. Sometimes our attention is so focused on the things of this world that we lose sight of, or even shut out, Jesus.

DESCRIPTION:
This skit is performed with the Michael Card song of the same title. Several teens into different things like music, money and a loving couple who are very into each other, cannot hear Jesus trying to get their attention because they are so focused on their “gods”. In the end, the only thing able to get their attention is the reality of the cross.
